A Gong Puja is a sacred ceremony in which gongs are played continuously for 7.5 hours, the equivalent of ten 45-minutes Gong Baths.
This is an opportunity to reset daily life, to align on a deeper level with a personal intention, and to have a deep sense of connection with self, others, and humanity, as a whole.
dive into the waves of sound
You will be immersed in the sounds waves of the gongs, their vibrations being absorbed throughout the entire body, helping shift stagnant energies. Other sound healing instruments, like alchemy bowls, chimes, drums, and rattles will be used to create a diverse soundscape, inviting your mind and body to enter a deep state of relaxation. During the Puja you can lie down and sleep or meditate, whatever feels comfortable for you.
What to expect?
The Gong Puja is a beautiful cleansing experience, highly rejuvenating for the heart, body, and mind. Gong bathers can observe different experiences, from different emotions to visions, from vibrations in the body to tingling. Every person’s experience is of course unique, and the way to understand it is to surrender and allow yourself to feel everything. There is no right, and there is no wrong. It just is.

06:30 Gentle wake up. A light breakfast will be served.

What to bring?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Thick mattresses are provided, you can bring a mattress cover, sleeping bag or blanket, pillow – whatever you need to be comfortable and warm. Maybe your favourite crystal, fluffy toy, or pen and journal. And a refillable water bottle.
Please arrive at 20:00. Late-comers are not allowed in once the doors close.

The DB55 is a blended venue, located in the Amsterdam Houthavens, where innovation, education, education, sport, art, and leisure come together.

The three of us met while playing the gongs at Spirit Connection. One morning, after a gong puja, Julie said: “Let’s share this with the world!”
